Position Title: Upholstery R&D Technical Assistant

Job Summary

The Upholstery R&D Technical Assistant supports the Chief Technician and the R&D team in product development, technical coordination, and documentation management. This role ensures accurate communication, organized technical data control, and smooth follow-up throughout the sample development process.

Assist the Chief Upholstery R&D Technician in daily product development and technical coordination work. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Key Responsibilities

1. Translation & Technical Communication

Provide daily Chinese-Vietnamese translation support within the R&D and production teams.

Translate technical documents, drawings, specifications, and working instructions between Chinese and Vietnamese.

Assist in cross-functional communication to ensure technical requirements are clearly understood and correctly implemented.

2. BOM & Technical Data Management

Assist in preparing, organizing, and maintaining product BOM (Bill of Materials).

Verify basic BOM information consistency during development stages.

Support engineers in collecting and updating technical development data.

Maintain accurate records for product development reference.

3. Drawing & Document Control

Organize standard technical drawings, engineering files, and development documents.

Classify, archive, and maintain drawings according to company document control standards.

Ensure proper document version control and traceability.

Maintain structured filing systems for easy retrieval and long-term reference.

4. Sample Development Coordination

Follow up on sample development drawings and technical documentation.

Track sample progress from development initiation to completion.

Coordinate information between R&D, sample room, and production teams.

Assist in recording development changes and updates during the sampling process.

5. R&D Operational Support

Support daily operations of the Upholstery R&D Center.

Assist in standard document preparation and technical data organization.

Help maintain development standards and internal technical records.

Perform other duties assigned by supervisors related to product development activities.
